Indigenos Leaders: Self-Supporting,

Self-Governing, & Self-Promoting

Metro Praise believes in reaching the world with the Gospel through finding

and raising up indigenos leaders in their own country and land.  We believe

by doing this we can support and build far more churches than sending

western missionaries around the world to do the work of the ministry.

Today just one western missionary can cost up to $25,000 a year to

support but with that same money, 100's of local leaders can raise of

1000's of new indigenos churches.

The word "indigenous" means "a natural citizen or inhabitant of a country or

land."  Therefore, we believe in this day when literally 1000's of local leaders

are all over the world in their own land we here in America should support

them with our resources so they can reach their own countrymen for Jesus

Christ.

Our goal in supporting these leaders through books, schools, and crudades

is to make indigenous leaders self-supporting, which means they eventually

support all their own costs with the people of their own church; self-

governing, which means the people within the local church govern and lead

their own diciples; and lastly self-promoting, which means the local disciples

preach and promote the work of the Gospel in their own area.

All of these principles should be in every church no matter where they are

located in the world or despite their economic situation. Therefore, we

welcome all leaders around the world to join with us so we can equip you to

be indigenous leaders in your homeland and win a world for JESUS CHRIST!
