Onye & Thama have been in ministry in Nigeria over 26 years. Onye converted from the Jehovah Witness faith and started his walk with the Lord as a young man. He is also a medical doctor with extensive travel around the world, including India and other west African nations.
Onye joined his church with Metro Praise in June of 2009 and became the Apostlic Elder of Nigeria. Since then he has started 5 churches in the surrounding areas. He and his family have a goal of planting 50 Metro Praise churches in Nigeria in the next 5 years.
